Martin Wright - Head Coach

Martin started playing tennis at the age of 8 and has been playing tennis at Pewsey Tennis Club ever since. He has represented the Club and played for the County from a young age, training on a daily basis in Group and individual coaching. Competing frequently in match plays and tournaments all over the Country Martin Reached an LTA player rating of 3.1. In 1999 he was the county champion in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. He now represents the club playing for the men’s A team and has won the league title 4 times the first time at the age of 16.

He started helping with coaching at the age of 14 and soon after completed his tennis assistant’s course. After finishing College both Martin and Jon completed the Development Coach Award. In 2005 Martin passed the Club Coach Award specialising in performance and became one of the youngest coaches to gain the qualification. Now a level 4 coach he has been the Head Coach for 6 years and coaches players of all ages and all abilities.

Martin is available for group and individual coaching all year round.
