TENNIS CLUBMARK IS THE LTA’S club accredititation programme. Achieving Tennis Clubmark means the LTA endorses and supports the tennis programmes our club delivers on court, and the policies and procedures we have in place off court.These are crucial to ensure that our club is managed effectively and that we provide a safe environment for our juniors to enjoy and play tennis.

PEWSEY TENNIS CLUB IS ONE OF THE FIRST THREE WILTSHIRE TENNIS CLUBS TO ACHIEVE TENNIS CLUBMARK ACCREDITATION.

Colin Gratton, our Chairman, together with our coaches, Martin Wright and Jon Veale implemented the tennis programmes, policies and procedures in the first half of 2008 and following a review by Sally Fray, Tennis Operations manager (SouthWest), in September Pewsey Tennis Club was awarded Tennis Clubmark alongside Riverside (Salisbury) and Ramsbury. Colin received the award on behalf of the Club at the Wiltshire LTA AGM in December 2008. (see photo below: Colin is 2nd from right)

Julie Jones (Wilts LTA Tennis Development Manager) was very supportive as the Club worked tirelessly to achieve accreditation.

Colin Gratton confirmed that following 3 years intensive work on improving our tennis facilities that achieving Tennis Clubmark ‘is the icing on the cake’ and ensures that Pewsey Tennis Club remains one of the best and friendliest tennis clubs in Wiltshire.
